No. Vaccinations do not guarantee that your dog will not get sick. There are several situations that can cause a dog to get sick with stress being one of them. Un-spayed Females are permitted in play regardless of age. We do not admit female dogs in heat or pregnant or nursing mothers.

If you fail to disclose overtly aggressive behavior, we reserve the right to refuse service at the time of drop-off.

Do I need to bring my own food for my dog?

Yes, please do so. Due to the varyng dietary needs of each dog, VIP does not provide complimentary food for our guests. We ask that you bring your own food for your dog’s stay. Please package dry kibble in individual servings (such as in Baggies or Ziploc bags) or bring your measuring cup from home so we do not over or under feed your dog. We cannot store large bags or bins of food, so measure your servings carefully.

Generally, dogs over 6 months of age do not need a midday meal. However, we are happy to feed your dog 1 meal during its daycare stay with us. If you chose to have us feed your dog lunch or dinner, please bring in his/her meal in a pre-measured Ziploc bag with your dog’s name on it.

Each owner is required to sign a Medical Authorization form to be kept on file in case of a medical emergency. VIP errs on the side of caution. If we feel medical attention is needed then we will first attempt to contact you, then take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Just like daycare for children, there is a risk of dogs picking up communicable illnesses and or injuries from interacting with one another. VIP is not responsible for the expenses related to treating any illness or injury which may be caused by your dog’s interaction or housing in proximity to other dogs. Each owner is fully responsible for any medical charges related to the care of their dog.
