Dog Pool & Play Patio in West Palm Beach
Our dog swimming pool in West Palm Beach is an in-ground, bone-shaped pool set beside a K-9 grass play patio. Choose group pool play with dogs of similar size and temperament, private pool time for one dog, or a hydro exercise session in our ViTAILIX swim tank.
Walk-ins are welcome for pool play, or reserve ahead at 561-366-9000. Every swimmer needs a signed Pool Release and current vaccinations, and males over 6 months must be neutered to join group pool play.
Explore Our Dog Swimming and Pool Activities
Three ways to get your dog in the water, depending on how they like to swim and what you want from the session.
Group Pool Play
Swimming and splashing with other dogs in our bone-shaped pool. A good fit for social dogs who love company. Males over 6 months must be neutered to join.
Individual Pool Time
Private pool time for your dog alone. A good choice for dogs who prefer the water to themselves.
ViTAILIX Swim Tank
Hydro exercise sessions in our ViTAILIX swim tank, booked one session at a time. Call 561-366-9000 to talk through whether the tank suits your dog.
Every pool guest needs a signed Pool Release and proof of Rabies, Distemper, Parvo and Bordetella vaccinations.
Our Outdoor Dog Pool and Play Patio
Our in-ground pool is shaped like a dog bone and sits next to a K-9 grass play patio, so dogs can swim, shake off and keep playing in the sun. The pool and patio are part of roughly 13,000 square feet of outdoor play space at our resort on Park Place in West Palm Beach.
Come see our dog pool in West Palm Beach for yourself. Tours run from 9am to 4pm, Monday through Saturday, and no appointment is needed.
Benefits of Swimming and Aquatic Exercise for Dogs
Swimming is a fun way for dogs to stay active and cool off in the South Florida heat. Pool time adds variety to a day of play:
- Recreation: splashing and swimming with friends, then drying off on the patio.
- Activity: dog aquatic exercise gets your dog moving in a different way than running in the yard.
- Enrichment: water, new textures and a change of scene keep the day interesting.
If your dog has a medical condition or is recovering from an injury, check with your veterinarian before booking dog swimming or hydro exercise sessions.
Swimming Safety and Supervision
Pool guests play in groups of dogs with similar size and temperament, the same way we organize all play at VIP. Our staff are CPR and Pet First Aid trained, and the resort is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
- A signed Pool Release is required before your dog swims.
- Males over 6 months must be neutered to join group pool play.
- Females in heat, pregnant or nursing are not admitted.
- All guests need current Rabies, Distemper, Parvo and Bordetella vaccinations.
If your dog is new to swimming, tell us when you book so we can recommend group play or individual pool time.
Pool Activities for Daycare and Boarding Guests
Here is how pool time fits with daycare, Day Camp and boarding at VIP.
Daycare Guests
Add pool time to a day of supervised play. Group pool play starts at $15 per session, with packages available.
Day Camp
Our five-hour Day Camp includes an hour in the pool, along with ball chase, scent games and a daily group activity.
Boarding Guests
Dogs staying in our hotel can enjoy the pool with other guests. Ask about adding group pool play, individual pool time or swim tank sessions to your dog’s stay.
